2006 USPSA Nationals Report
The 2006 USPSA Nationals was held this year at the new USSA facility in Tulsa Oklahoma. This new facility is a fantastic addition to the ranges that we are able to use for major matches. Great job Tom Fee and all the Staff.

The match ran great with the exception of some calibration issues on the all-new steel poppers. But they got that pretty much handled.

This I have to say was not the easiest match I have shot by a long way. It seemed to have been set up to challenge the Open Shooters. This just increased the difficulty for the production shooters.
Lots of long shot, metric targets covered with no shoots, somewhat difficult stuff like that.
The Sp01 I was shooting preformed admirably, I was very glad to have the smooth light single action trigger for those longer shoots. The DA is something that has to be overcome but at least most times, we get the choice of where to shoot it J

CZ sponsored a sage at the match I think it was 4. We had a table in the vendor's area for show and tell, Matt, Darrion and I were on hand most of the "OFF" time to chat about the product.
I want to thank CJ from CZ-USA for coming down and manning the table when we were shooting the match. He did a great job fielding the various questions about the product line, thanks CJ.

So how did we end up?
Well after a long hard fought match I was second overall, my teammate Matt Mink was 5th overall. Mike Lutterell won High A Class with his SP01. Good showing all around.
I have no idea how many CZ were present we will know that when the survey results come in, all I know was I saw a bunch of shooters using them.

A great time was had by all.

Angus
